Kudun Musse
Kudun Musse is a Somali community leader and activist based in Dublin, Ireland. He serves as the Chairperson and legal representative of the Udug Association, a non-governmental, non-profit organization focused on promoting equality of opportunities and fostering good relations among diverse racial groups.
In addition to his role at the Udug Association, is current Secretor and former Vice Chairperson of the Africa Centre Ireland , ASCI is an organization dedicated to empowering the African diaspora and promoting their integration within Irish society.
Kudun also works with Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia, he offers key support to the Government across a range of priorities, including providing a means of meeting the needs of Somali citizens and the Somali Government, where we not have a resident diplomatic Mission in Dublin, Ireland.
Kudun’s community involvement extends to cultural events as well. He actively participates in celebrations such as Somali Independence Day and organizing events in Dublin to commemorate the occasion.
In 2017, Kudun graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computing in Networking and Support from Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) in Dundalk, County Louth. His graduation was featured in the Dundalk Democrat, highlighting his academic achievements.
Beyond his organizational roles, Kudun has ventured into acting, with a credited role as an interpreter in the 2019 film “A Girl from Mogadishu,” which portrays the life of Somali-Irish activist.
Through his leadership and active participation in various initiatives, Kudun Musse continues to make significant contributions to promoting equality, cultural awareness, and community development in Ireland.
